Real Tennis Exhibition Match

Dear All,

We would like to give you the opportunity to come and watch some top level Real Tennis and then for those that are interested you can have a go yourself at the original Racquet Sport!

On Thursday 26th January at 6.30pm the two Hatfield Professionals Jon Dawes and James Law will be going Head to Head in an Exhibition match played off handicap. The evening will begin at 6.30pm when the Professionals will take any spectators who are new to Real Tennis on to court to explain the rules of the game and give a brief talk on what it is all about. At around 7.00pm the match will start, with Hatfield members on hand to explain what is happening and answer any questions you may have. When the match is finished the Professionals will then take anyone who would like to give the game a try onto court and give them a chance to hit some balls.

Tickets for the event will cost £20 which will cover all food and drink for the evening as well as all the entertainment. This is a great opportunity to come along and find out more about the oldest racquet sport in the world and who knows, if you enjoy it you may want to come back and become a regular.

We have a maximum capacity of 48 seats which will be sold on a strictly first come first served basis so please don’t miss your chance to come and join in the fun.
