Yesterday saw the 2026 edition of the Goldblatt Cup Ladies Handicap Singles and while it wasn't a large entry, it was still a very entertaining day of tennis with some big handicap differences on show and some superb tennis from all the players! Once again Hatfield played host to the Category D 30-39 Handicap Singles event last weekend and as is usually the case the event was split into 2 sections 30-34 and 35-39 handicap and with an initial entry or 21 players in total but 1 late withdrawal due to injury and a maximum of 4 points between the best and worst players in each section, it promised to be a very entertaining weekend of tennis. 2026 Billy Ross Skinner Report Last weekend Hatfield once again played host to the Billy Ross Skinner Invitational Mixed Doubles tournament and once again it didn’t disappoint with close matches and exciting tennis throughout. The event brings together the top 16 lady players available and pairs them up with men of suitable handicaps to give every pair an equal chance of winning and as always that very much proved to be the case.
